Equine & Animal Reiki 

I specialise in working with families and their newest animal family member after adoption. I help to facilitate & support both people & their animal companions, to develop a trusting, respectful Heart Soul bond.

During the adjustment process after adoption, Reiki treatments can help families to build respectful relationships with their newest animal companions, honouring them as perfectly imperfect during the healing process.  It is important to release all expectations of how this journey will unfold, and focus on developing the loving trustworthy, Heart Soul Bond between animals and their chosen human. 

The benefits of reiki for animals includes; reduces anxiety & stress, helps improve calmer behaviour, strengthens the bonding process, and supports healing on all levels; emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical.

After the session, I will also share some simple & helpful mindfulness techniques, empowering you to continue a simple daily routine promoting building a mutually respectful relationship with your companion animal.

I am blessed to continue working with so many sentient Soveriegn spirits, both human and animals, through my Reiki practice. Sharing the precious gift of Reiki with others, helping to facilitate beautiful interspecies partnerships between animals and people, is why I do what I do.

We are all unique divine spirits having an experience here on earth in our designated vehicles, our bodies. We are all connected, through the universal life force energy, which flows through all living beings. 

Recognising animals are Sentient beings and possess unique healing abilities that they are willing to share with us, as we connect fully in that moment. When we learn to breath, to be still, to be fully present in the moment, we are able to feel Kokoro; the heart soul bond we are capable of sharing, & hear their loving communication.

This vibration of communication trancends the 5 senses of humans, so by raising your vibration to connect with animals, you learn to tap into your SoulHeartBond, to feel the intuitive knowledge & wisdom deep within our hearts. I invite you to be open to this experience & to embrace your own intuitive communication gifts between you and your animal companion.

In 2022, I began offering Reiki to clients in the Ballarat community, both to animals and their humans. I also completed further accreditation & training, and I was intiated into Shinpiden Master Teacher level in 2023.

I currently provide onsite mobile Reiki sessions at your home, or property, as most animals are more comfortable and receptive in their own  spaces.  Distance Reiki sessions are also very effective and can also be conducted remotely.

Guiding Principles:

I believe the animals are equal partners in the healing process.
I honor the animals as being not only my clients, but also my teachers in the journey of healing.
I understand that all animals have physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects, to which Reiki can bring profound healing responses.
I believe that bringing Reiki to the human/animal relationship is transformational to the human view of the animal kingdom.
I dedicate myself to the virtues of humility, integrity, compassion and gratitude in my Reiki practice.
In working on myself, I follow these practices:
I incorporate the Five Reiki Precepts into my daily life and Reiki practice.
I commit myself to a daily practice of self-healing and spiritual development so that I can be a clear and strong channel for healing energy.
I nurture a belief in the sacred nature of all beings, and in the value and depth of animalkind as our partners on this planet.
I listen to the wisdom of my heart, remembering that we are all One.
In working in the community, I hold the following goals:

I work to create professional alliances and cooperative relationships with other Reiki practitioners/teachers, animal health-care providers and animal welfare organizations in my community.
I strive to educate my community in its understanding of the benefits of Reiki for animals.
I continually educate myself to maintain and enhance my professional competence so that I uphold the integrity of the profession.
I consider myself an ally to the veterinary and animal health community. I work to support their efforts in achieving animal wellness and balance. I honor other disciplines and their practitioners.
In working with the human companions of the animals, I will:
Share information before the treatment about my healing philosophy, the Reiki healing system and what to expect in a typical treatment, as well as possible outcomes, including the possibility of healing reactions.
Provide a clear policy ahead of time regarding fees, length of treatment and cancellation policy, as well as “postponement” policy, should the animal not want the treatment that day.
Never diagnose. I will always refer clients to a licensed veterinarian when appropriate.
Honor the privacy of the animals and their human companions.
Share intuition received during Reiki treatments, with compassion and humility, for the purpose of supporting their understanding of the healing process.
Respect the human companion’s right to choose the animal’s healing journey, selecting the methods, both holistic and/or conventional that he or she deems most appropriate, with the support and advice of a trusted veterinarian.
In working with the animals, I follow these guidelines:
I work in partnership with the animal.
I always ask permission of the animal before beginning, and respect his or her decision to accept or refuse any treatment. I listen intuitively and observe the animal’s body language in determining the response.
I allow each animal to choose how to receive his or her treatment; thus each treatment could be a combination of hands-on, short distance and/or distant healing, depending on the animal’s preference.
I let go of my expectations about how the treatment should progress and/or how the animal should behave during the treatment, and simply trust Reiki.
I accept the results of the treatment without judgment and with gratitude toward Reiki and the animal’s openness and participation in the process.

Background to Animal communication & Energy Healing

I have always had a unique connection to animals, and as a child, I was the strange child, a loner, the quirky child. Growing up I was seldom invited to birthday parties at school, and if I did attend, I was always found outside the party, playing with animals trying to avoid the other children. I often struggled to make friends, it was animals that I felt most comfortable and safe; they accepted me unconditionally, & spoke to me telepathically. I could hear their thoughts in my head. I was ridiculed for sharing this with others, so I kept my secret abilities hidden for many, many years, and practiced in secret..

My journey into energy healing began many years ago, when my much beloved canine soul-companion, Geisha, was diagnosed with Cancer a second time. I sought out all forms of holistic treatments to help her cope with the veterinary treatments & to try and find a way to beat this awful debilatating disease. I attended an Animal Reiki Meditation & healing workshop with a holistic Veterinary Nurse & found through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the intuitive gifts & soul-connection which I shared with Geisha. I began to further developing a unique psychic & inuitive HeartSoul-Bond with her, not knowing then, that one day in the future, I would share this precious gift with many other animals. Geisha chose the next special soul who would become the next foster. A sweet puppy called Tippy, rescued from a rural high kill-shelter, who immediately had a connection with me. Eager to learn, Tippy instantly submitted to accepting her place on the pack ladder & gained Geisha's approval during the rehab process, to become a foster-keeper.

Shortly after Geisha transitioned to Spirit, she came to me in a dream that a beautiful spirit would need my help. A few days later, the animal rescue called me & asked if I could meet Bailey, a surrendered male dog, who had stage 4 cancer - mast cell tumors & needed a loving foster family after his upcoming surgery, which would only give him quality of life in his final days. He became our beloved companion for 3 month, far too short a time. We loved him fiercely & shared many special experiences, as we fulfilled a Bucket-List for him. During his time with me, I was also re-introduced to Animal Reiki, inspiring me to return to further studies over the next few years, in order to be able to work with animals in a professional capacity, in the future.

In 2018, I also completed the nationally accredited Certificate 3 in Animal Studies, which also included 80 hours of practical work placement experience: at both a local Equine Studfarm & Equestrian centre and also a local doggy-daycare Canine Creche.

2020 I was initiated into Level One Reiki, in 2021 completed Level Two, and in 2023 completed Master Teacher Level. I have been serving clients, both animals and humans since 2022, and recently also completed further study & training, expanding to now offer Equine Reiki.
