Mission

To be a trusted complementary allied health provider by supporting individuals and community groups, through the integration of Reiki treatments as part of medical care plans, in their quest for improved health outcomes and to obtain a better quality of life. 

It is my mission to continue to work towards the implementation of Professional Reiki Treatments within hospital environments, to be offered to all patients, to help improve patient care and continually strive for improved health outcomes for all patients.

Obtaining certification as a Reiki Master Teacher, I aspire to be dedicated to the authentic teachings and traditional practices of the Usui Reiki method of Natural Healing.

I believe that by teaching the practice of Reiki energy healing to Doctors, Nurses and other health care support staff, we can continue promote Reiki not only as a self-care tool for healthcare professionals personally to reduce stress & preventing burnout, but to also assist in improving patient care and improved health outcomes for all patients.

Vision

To be recognised as a leading ethical and professional allied health provider, through the provision of professional Reiki treatment practice, by promoting wellbeing through Reiki treatments as a spiritual practice and healing art.

To ensure a dedication to the Principles of Reiki, following and demonstrating such, through a committed personal practice, and through the implementation of a quality teachings, education and training of others in the ethical principles of Reiki treatment practice.

To encourage others to access their own self-healing abilities through reiki as a self-care modality, in their quest to reach optimal health outcomes.

To continue to raise the profile of professional reiki treatments within the healthcare industry, by adhering to strict standards of professional and ethical conduct, to promote the acceptance of reiki within the community and in healthcare settings, as a proven beneficial healing modality. 

By remaining committed to Reiki as a personal and spiritual practice, and to honour all lineages of Reiki which originate from the teachings of Mikao Usui.

To be dedicated to providing a professional service by achieving a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a dedicated, consistent daily self-reiki practice. This ensures the Practitioner remains a clear conduit  for Reiki in order to facilitate a high quality of service and the client receives the full potential healing benefits available to them, during every session.

Acceptance - to provide a safe, nurturing environment where each individual can feel comfortable expressing their true selves, and to embrace and activate their own self-healing ability.

Accountability - As a member with a leading national Reiki association, I adhere to and also abide by strict codes of conducts and ethics, and also engage in Continuous Professional Development, through studying and ongoing professional development. I am also a newly appointed Director on the Board with Reiki Australia, the leading professional reiki membership association in Australia.

Compassion - I am proud to provide a caring and nurturing environment and professional care to a diverse audience. All cultures, nationalities, sexual identities, and all genders are acknowledged, recognised and validated. 

Courtesy- acceptance of diversity and treating others with kindness and compassion. All members of the community are warmly welcomed and accepted and treated with respect.

Ethics - as a member with Reiki Australia, I hold Accredited Reiki Treatment Practitioner level category, meaning that I abide by strict codes of conduct, must have current valid credentials at all times, including Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance, have current CPR & First Aid and have completed further professional development and study, and provide treatment logs in the first year of membership. As a Member of Reiki Australia, I also abide by their Honour Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct

Honesty - Elaine Bowler Reiki is proud to provide an LGBTQ+ Safe Space, and is also an LGBTQ+ owner operator. Privacy is assured, and any information exchanged during sessions remains completely confidential, and private.

Integrity - as a Reiki Practitioner providing professional treatments to the public and wider community, I maintain patient confidentiality and Privacy at all times. I am also considered to be a non-registered healthcare provider & am bound by a National Code of Conduct For Healthcare Workers.

Respect - We are all equal and deserving of being treated with kindness, compassion and respect.
